Book Draft - “Play Dumb”

Play dumb

We are not in the 1990’s anymore. Words will get you locked up. No more winking at pretty girls, no more affectionate tone, no more trying your hardest to impress. People get offended over the most innocent and intentional acts no matter how “cool you play it.”

Let’s see “Liddy”
Geek whiz, outlet, I’m very glad I have you to fully express pent up emotions to!  I just finished my post-session intake.  Yes, it was warmed up leftovers but the dense kidney beans, pasta and steamed broccoli was delicious.  Practicing form today was exhilarating!  I’m turning some music on right now to boost my drafting “process.”  Haha, I am not a fan of having to constantly censor and put quotes around sensitive subjects, names, likenesses.  Pschhhh..
Cleans mouth of bean skins, caught words, and far too much saliva leaves me choking daily!  God reigns at the center of everything.  My beating heart feels left out left on the sidelines!  I want to hit it out of the park every time I’m up top bat.  Yes, I saw the coach shaking his head seeing I was up next knowing two outs and the same were on the bases.  We made it to the championship game that year.  “Going down swinging” is a mantra I should embrace more often.  Too nervous to swing is a feeling I feel often.
