Don’t Be A Dummy, Dummy!

Yes, sometimes we have to be direct in our “character assassinations!” We’re here to deflate the old and breathe in “new” hope. We even seem to rhyme from time to time. The term “Swift Justice” has been swirling my mind recently. LET’S pop off! Get that frustration out of your system, it’s blocking the blessings.
Firstly, those avoiding what’s right in front of them/ already being provided to help them out is a bit better left unsaid. Gather the sticks and stones thrown to create mosaic of harmony. Fused humbleness, audacity, trying, sweat equity and TLC should create a path. Do not follow the crowd, create your own pass. Be rich in love, trust, understanding and easier paths.
I used to intentionally look the other way when I saw “the easy way out.” I’ll admit it.

In this edition of “Be Rational For A Change…”
I hope you are using your earned and saved resources for good purposes. Don’t be “too good” for the free lunch they offer at your next business meeting. You have priorities. If it helps you save up for rent, accept the free continental breakfast, lunch on the house, free salad, dessert and discounted dinner. Welcome it all. They even have assistance that helps you heat your home. Nobody I know has funds to “give away,” paying for stuff they don’t need to pay for like that. Why turn away the larger slice of cake? We’re all here at the Mercy of God.

I’ll be the first to admit I always chose to take the more difficult, strenuous path. I held my head high doing so too. It built character, made me stand up taller, emboldened my chest. It also drained me of my breath, and my energy.

Imagine you’re down to your last $10 for the week. That won’t even get you through the day, these days. One hamburger costs you $9. That’s without fries or a drink. You have had that $10 in your pocket for three days now. You wanted to put that in the bank. You thought, maybe just maybe you’d be able to invest that in a smart investment that paid dividends as long as you kept it invested. Pssch, if only someone would cover your meals for the week.
Yes, it’s somewhat heartbreaking to think you need all that assistance. I’ll tell ya, I’d rather bite my tongue for a day or two and accept the help than to realize how dumb I’ve been not accepting the leg up when it was offered. I said what I said.
