FPBT (Poem)

Test

FRESHLY PAVED BLACKTOP, alas I have tripped and skinned my knees on you recently. I have worn down my running shoes.  I have used my hose and wash buckets to clear you of blood multiple times. Tonight I thought ahead and brought a box of chalk with me. I hope to add color to you to bring out bits of ocean and silver I see in her eyes in my minds eye. The friction beneath my feet triggers my leap. Hotter than the sun on the soles of my feet, your face burns opaque whiteness that reminds me of my sheets.  I need guidance to avoid potholes well in advance. Know that.  I hate driving scared.
