To the Leadership and Dedicated Team of the IM ABLE Foundation,
“Get off the sidelines, BRUH!” This is the rallying cry that embodies the spirit and urgency of the adaptive community you serve. The IM ABLE Foundation has consistently provided the time, space, and crucial support needed to give countless individuals that final push over the hump, allowing us to move as one and truly magnify our impact.
My name is Kyle Keech. You may have recently caught a glimpse of me—perhaps scooting by on that "badass" e-bike during the Ruck and Roll, or maybe ringing the bell at the top of the rope climb in this year’s Spartan Race, a moment now featured on the IM ABLE website. These accomplishments were just the past best version of myself. Here, we are focused on moving mountains for fun, dedicated to an ethos where "paying it forward" is not just a tagline, but a vital mission we embrace.
Introducing the Next Wave: The 3A Movement
The momentum is building, and I am excited to share that I have been brainstorming a new initiative: 3A – Young American Adaptive Athletes. Our goals revolve around continuing to connect the dots in our personal recoveries, sharing successes, raising awareness, and leading communal funding efforts. We have to do this; we would not be as active, focused, and stubborn as we are without Jesus, the momentum you’ve helped build, and an ACE in our pockets.
That ACE is the focus of this letter, representing the future of adaptive empowerment.
The Adaptive Tech Curator (ATC): The Digital Enabler
I want to advocate for the Foundation to aggressively lean into the next critical phase of adaptive technology adoption: accessible, customizable AI tools.
This very communication is being drafted with the assistance of an innovative tool I’ve adopted: a custom-designed Gemini assistant, which I call the IM ABLE Adaptive Tech Curator (ATC).
The ATC serves as my personal digital enabler and executive function support. For someone like me, the process begins by simply journaling informally—letting the thoughts and passion flow, just as I shared my initial rallying cry: "Trees get de-rooted and hurled cities at a time. Brainstorming’s been rocking my bed..."
The ATC then curates that draft, transforming a raw, personal entry into a public-facing masterpiece—a perfectly structured appeal, a compelling blog post, or a strategic plan. This digital assistant proves that adaptive technology is no longer confined to specialized physical devices; it’s also about customized AI that removes cognitive and communication barriers.
A Call to Champion Digital Empowerment
The 3A movement is poised to take the stage, confident that we ARE ENOUGH, we like our originality, and God’s got our backs. We believe the Foundation has the time, space, and significance to join us in amplifying this effort.
We urge the IM ABLE Foundation to champion the ATC model—a digital tool that empowers athletes to become organized, fearless self-advocates. By supporting the formal adoption of such accessible AI, you will solidify the Foundation's role as the crumbs leading the heat-seeking flocks of seagulls, preparing to take flight into a future of total inclusion.
Thank you for your tireless work and for giving us the platform to be active, focused, and truly ABLE.
Sincerely,
Kyle Keech, Adaptive Athlete and Advocate
