Bodybuilders, UNITE!  Tell them recruiters your preliminary stats!  Tell’em everything:

When preparing for a bodybuilding competition, beginners often focus on specific measurements to track their progress and assess their physique. Here are some common bodybuilding measurements that are typically taken:

1. **Weight**: Overall body weight is a fundamental measure, as competitors often need to meet certain weight classes.

2. **Body Fat Percentage**: This measurement helps assess muscle definition and overall leanness. Many competitors aim for a specific body fat percentage to achieve the desired look.

3. **Chest**: Measured at the widest point, typically across the nipples, to assess upper body development.

4. **Waist**: Measured at the narrowest point, usually above the belly button, to gauge core development and aesthetics.

5. **Hip Measurement**: Taken around the widest part of the hips, which can help in assessing overall proportion.

6. **Arm Circumference**: Measured around the bicep at its largest point, often when flexed, to evaluate arm development.

7. **Forearm Circumference**: Measured around the largest part of the forearm.

8. **Thigh Circumference**: Measured at the largest part of the thigh to assess leg development.

9. **Calf Circumference**: Taken at the largest part of the calf for lower leg assessment.

10. **Shoulder Width**: Measured from one shoulder to the other, often at the widest point, to evaluate upper body width.

11. **Neck Circumference**: This measurement can also be relevant for assessing overall upper body aesthetics.

12. **Wingspan**: The measurement from fingertip to fingertip can provide insight into proportions.

These measurements can be tracked over time to monitor progress and inform training and nutrition plans. Additionally, competitors may also consider aesthetics and symmetry, which can be assessed through posing practice and visual comparison in the mirror or through photographs.

Don’t forget to mention of course, training and upgrading your overall performance and aesthetics is consistently draining you of resources.  You are currently broke, unable to fund their trips around the world, mansions, dreams and aspirations temporarily.  Hope they stay.  When they disappear, take a double take of your shoulder. Take a deep breath and wish them well.
