## Cold open (comic-style scene)

- Panel 1: A kid stares up at “Mount Hard Thing” made of homework, laundry, and a buzzing phone.

- Panel 3: The mountain shrinks into a marked trail called “Next Tiny Step.”

## Read‑aloud: Name It. Tame It. Frame It.

Hard doesn’t mean bad. Hard means training.

- Name it: “My hard thing is ______.”

- Tame it: Shrink it to one next tiny step.

- Frame it: Say why it matters to you.

- Mission Pick: List 3 hard things. Circle the ONE that matters most today.

- Tiny Step Finder: If the mission is “clean room,” the tiny step is “put 5 things in the basket.”

- Why Power: Finish this line: “I’m doing this because ______.”

- Mission Badge: Draw or sticker a badge with your mission name. Post it where you’ll see it.

## Parent Power‑Ups

- Spotlight one: Help your kid pick just one mission. Trade “Do it all” for “Do one.”
