Let others fling arrows. Your faith is not fiction to you. It is your bedrock. However, in the realm of mental combat, fiction can come in handy and provide a saving grace. Friction on the horizon? Throw fictionalized forces at it. Wield your inner Muscle Hero to stomp out frustrations, fears, falsehoods, “Nancies,” doubt and insecurity.
“Muscle Hero” is technically my alternate persona, but yours should be simple to figure out. Muscle Hero embodies the multitude of character strengths I would love to see assimilated with my name. The name “Kyle” itself does not carry seemingly bold, tough, strong, unfaltering tones with it. Recognizing superhuman adjectives and qualities as personal descriptors and my “plain clothes” hints to elevated sense of self and courage needed to overcome the unfathomable.

If you believe your biggest battles are fought against falsehoods and doubt, then the gym is your proving ground. We talked about Friction as the obstacle—the fear, the falsehood, the heavy doubt that keeps you glued to the floor. When that friction hits your mind, it creates a mental burn. The only way to dissolve it isn't with a single, dramatic victory; it's with grinding, relentless Repetition. Pain is just friction. Repetition is the solvent. It breaks down resistance chemically, one perfectly executed set at a time. This is where the Muscle Hero is forged.
